Their narrative of what has happened between the clubs in recent years is different.
Different perspective, so natural enough.
I wouldn't mind the thaw spreading to the fans. Hull KR and Hull FC are individually, but even more so together IMO, a great source of civic pride. With things looking up for both clubs - AP taking over there, Rovers getting a B grade licence, hopefully we'll have more

Does that mean you're going to un ban 'em?
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

excluding Mrs B's nom de plumes, there is only one FC fan on my ban list. And it is one even FC fans wanted banning.

Less revenue means less money for players and junior development equals worse performance. Very simplified that, I admit.
Less revenue for players over recent years? We have been told Rovers have spent to the full cap in recent years and according to most FC fans so have FC. So surely the bickering has had no effect on performance by both teams on the pitch.
As for sponsors, have not both teams announced record sponsorship deals over recent seasons?
I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell

I'm just clutching at straws really, I was hoping you wouldn't notice...

We ended up with a dog and a crab though. Things just got too complicated.
I don't know what to make of this supposed entente cordiale. I don't think Hudgell's made a sincere start to ushering in this new era with this comment: "We always had a willingness to have a Dialogue. The problem has been that the old Hull Regime never had a willingness to be involved, in my opinion they were quite arrogant about it" Not feeling the love, Neil.
