I agree, watching the game at the weekend Netherton did well, put in a couple of good stints and ran the ball in harder and got up faster than Vella. I agree he shouldn't be our starting prop but it's not his fault that our other recruitment is rubbish. It would be great to see what comments we would be seeing about jason if he had been let go a year or two ago and was playing ok in a side like Wakey, no doubt JM would be getting slaughtered for letting him go.
I think the disrespect Netherton gets from our fans, when he shows a very professional manner, does the job he's told to and is a very good club man is pretty poor. Yet if he was a disrespectful idiot he'd be lauded. Quick question does anyone think Netherton gives any less than 100% in any game? I've heard thats all it takes to become a great.
