I don't get to many academy games but according to those that do Cox aint too far away from his SL debut.

Would be awesome to see that team play York. Genuinely though we have Murrell, Lovegrove, Watts, Welham, Taylor, Sheriff, Beaumont, Latus that the RFL count as Homegrown players for Rovers who are getting a run out. Got to be a huge positive especially with Cox and Peterson who are looking at some game time aswell this season. Add in Netherton and Hodgson who are Hull lads things look positive on that front.

Cox and Peterson will undoubtedly get their shot at some point but i dont think it will be this season. Cox is a massive, powerful unit who could probably handle the physical side of Super League now but he has a few technical deficiences to iron out before i would play him personally. On the flip side Dave Peterson has struggled to put size on and i know from talking to him that it is frustrating him. He has recently been having spells at hooker in the reserves which is a position which may suit him better physically but it will take him time to adjust to the position.
