I know a buisnessman who sponsor a player, no idea as to the benefits one gets for the sponsorship but i'm sure a quick call to HKR would prove beneficial.
I do know personally one of the benefits the fans get get from sponsoring one of the players via the unnoficial fans forum...a chance of winning an all expenses ticket at the POTY evening. The handsome, good looking guy who won it this year had to pass up the opportunity due to a double booking
