Sonny played for the 18s this past week if I am not mistaken
"As a youth system we are still in our infancy when you compare us with some of the more established Super League clubs," he said. "So, to be able to attract a record number of youngsters to sign with us is a huge positive"
Sounds good Martin, keep it up

I know Sonny Esslemont and another under 16 played for the under 18 academy in their win against Wigan on Saturday.

Saw the under 16s a couple of times and thought that Beharrel and Kelso looked very promising. Sonny Esslemont played really well in the 18s on saturday. Good to see Rovers spotting players away from the traditional big youth set ups in Hull with the signing of the Holderness boys and also spreading our net into West Yorkshire.
