Yet you value the opinion of an ex-Rovers player over your own

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?

The biggest criticism I have is that against saints last week they were having a torrid time on their right hand side in the 1st half, hence a colbon hat trick, yet we then gave up the tactic of attacking their and went down our right for the rest of the game.

Last week wakey looked paper thin on their right, start of last night we targetted this, colbon scores and we get a number of breaks down there. Then we completely ignore this and wither go down the middle or to our right!!

It's almost like we have a cunning plan that says we'll attack their strongest point, they'll never expect that, even on the 50th attempt we do the same working on the principle they'll never expect us to do it again.

Surely the coach and players do their homework on the oppo and see these flaws, most of us can see it, why don't they.

Thats where I reckon Cockayne would excel, no-one expects him to be a Cooke, but I think he would be an ideal player in this role and he has got some pace and a godd side step.

why dont we have any set moves?

why do we just run a big froward up the middle all the time? no support players, no angles ran, nothing to make the opposition think.

We are so predictable this season, we just drive down the middle all the time, theres no flair, nothing expansive at all. The only times we got the ball wide at speed we scored through Colbon and Webster, but that was the only times we got any quick ball out wide.
Wakey offloaded at will last night, we never even tried too.
What does Morgan have them do at training?

and my final thoughts, what do Morgans half time talks go like?
He should have had the players coming out ready to throw the kitchen sink at Wakey 2nd half, instead they came out asleep. The same thing with Hudds this season, Battered first half so you would have thought he would have given them the Fergie hair dryer treatment, but no they come out and play just as bad.

so much like the views of many fc fans last year and the year before on our inept performances....

In a nutshell...a brissie LEGEND

ben for me is only a squad player, good impact off the bench but not the discipline for a starting 6. He's either good or dire and when it's the latter he costs games. His errors were what lost us impetus on Friday, put us on the backfoot and we never recovered.

We do play a conservative game - do the basics right, be patient, build pressure. I'm not going to knock it too much, as it saw us win 17 last season and its a decent plan A. What can be a problem is the lack of variety even within the conservative framework. I know that opponents' play seems more varied because it is a different team each week and we aren't, but we struggle to adapt when things aren't working. I almost getting the feeling that having a plan B would be considered as having too little faith in plan A/the systems.

Morgan strikes me as a technical coach rather than an inspirational figure, and he has assembled a technically sound and cohesive team that maybe lacks a bit of inspiration. I think it is part of the disappointment that Cooke didn't fit in quite right or enough, as he could give us another dimension. I'm pleased with Rovers squad, it is a good foundation for years to come and the best teams are built patiently, I think. We needed a big prop and some younger fed-trained players this year. However, if some of the homegrown and younger players kick on and we can afford it and find one, I think next year we'd really benefit by signing someone inspirational or capable of the spectacular.

Losing will still happen and tactics are pretty much irrelevant if players don't do the basics well. We'll win a few more this year and no doubt wax lyrical about how we ground them down and didn't panic/stuck to our guns, I'm sure.

Clinton looked quite good, I thought, and will definitely bring something to your pack.
