Its got to be Cooke and Dobson, if they both play well we dont lose, its as simple as that.

Ok so they probably are not the most influential but no one really makes more yards than these two at the club and I think we can struggle at times to really get some yardage going forward at times. Vella is a workhorse but at times some of his carries only get a us a few metres or he is driven back. Lovegrove and Colbon always make a good ten metres or more with players hanging on their back. They are still influential players in my opinion but you may disagree. Lovegrove was arguably the biggest influence in the Hull derby when his introduction in the second half got us out of trouble when Hull had us on the ropes.

So Lovegrove is more influential than Vella and Colbon more influential than Fox???

You'd best inform the International selectors

Lovegrove was the most influential player in the Derby. You are right about Silverwood. No, Lovegrove is not as influential as Vella but has got to be up there with one of our best forwards this season, he's never haver a bad game has he?

I think Lovegrove has found his niche as a player, he will make a top prop for the modern game. If he is given another contract and stays as a prop I think he will be a very influential player for us in the coming seasons.

Paul Cooke! You may laugh but imagine going into the play offs without him? He is having a decent season this year especially the 2nd half and does a lot of organising in defence as well as attack.
