Post subject:  For anyone travelling to Featherstone on Sunday.

This is not a traffic warning but a suggestion for any fan who enjoys reading books about the greatest game. The Featherstone club shop is well worth visiting as it has a fine collection of books on sale.
They include around eight player biographies, ten books of general historical interest and five novels.
Many fans think that since David Storey wrote This Sporting Life in the late fifties, there have been no other novels written against a rugby league background. Well there now must be well over a dozen and five of them are on view. They are Braver Than All The Rest, Rugby Football: A United Game, The Glory and the Dream, One Autumn and Two Seasons.
More details about all these books published by London League Publications can be seen on their web site. Visit http://www.llpshop.co.uk and click on fiction.
