We are delighte to welcome Barrow Raiders to the very first Chapionship One fixture for the North Wales Crusaders on Sunday 11th March 2012.
I am sure you are aware of the huge disapointment that Crusaders RL fans felt when our former owners withdrew financial support for the Super League team and forced a withdrawal of our application. We were face with losing Rugby League from North Wales. I am please to say, dedicated fans set up the SaveThe Cru campaign which has resulted in the formation of the North Wles Crusaders. A great deal of work has gone on to get us into this position; we have a new club, a new coaching team and a new group of players.
We have had 5 pre-season friendlies and have preformed well winning all five. We are aware that Barrow Raiders have also been very busy and sucessful pre-season. Its going to be a very competative league!!
