The new coach is Darren Holt with Phil Atkinson as his assistance, this in my opinion is an excellent decision, I just hope that the new board give the new coaching team the time that is required to put a competitive team together, the club needs stability in this department, something that was sadly lacking under the old regime.

I think the BOD have made a very wise choice appointing these 2, they were both legends in there own right and will provide excellent knowledge when recruiting players from the local area, I would be very surprised if we don't tempt 1 or 2 of our Barrow based players from up the coast.

Good luck in rebuilding your club we was always made to feel welcome in Barrow and had some good nights out hope to see you back in the Championship soon.

Good luck to the two of them. It did however concern me when Holt said he was to play on also. Does this mean predictable rugby back at Barrow?

I don't think we'll see Holty playing too much next season, we have plenty of cover in the halves in Campbell and Finch with strong rumours that Kaighan and Pedley will be returning from Town.
