Would love to see it happen, but I think the RFL have already chosen the club its gonna be Widnes. |

And its blatently obvious why.. Barrow have decent squad that are proven winners and brown envelopes.. but they also have a huge scrap yard as a ground and no youth set up |

Where is the proof regarding these brown envelopes? Eh! And to be honest as a Barrow fan. I pay my hard earned cash to watch rugby, not to go and sit in a stadium and admire it! If you and the RFL are so obsessed about stadiums, I've heard the new wembley is a nice place to visit! I personally think the RFL have gone off the beaten track and what happens on the field should count. Bring back promotion and relegation. Oh! P and R wouldn't be good for a mid table championship team like Widnes though would it! |

Shoulkd never have ended, no matter what excuse the RFL have given, it was always about self preservation and not the good of the game IMO, our product is excellent, but as far as our administartors are concerned I think cycling has more to be proud of. |

I personally think Widnes will be the first team to be admitted - but if your application is stronger than an already existing top 14 club, you will replace them. It is a possibility and the whole franchise thing is more open than it seems. I've another article of the intricacies of it coming soon. |

SOOPER LEAGUE, a special club, when 'potential' members can apply to join every 3 years - but it's a club that's light years behind the Australian equivalent. |

As a Widnes fan, I think we will get in SL come end of the month - should be a done deal as we met all of the criteria, but the RFL have not said that no other team would get in come the announcements in July so you still have hope. Problem the RFL now have is that more than one SL team have recently entered administration and several teams don't have a 'suitable' stadium in their eyes for 2012 season - so how can they justify only kicking one team out? I can see 2 SL teams getting the boot which must leave Barrow, Fax and a possible invitation to Toulouse with a chance. As a big lover of Cumbrian rugby, I hope you have a real chance of this. More to the point though, I hope your chairman, coach and players realise that there is much to play for. |

I don't think there'll be any surprises when the successful Championship license is announced but if you don't buy a ticket ........ |
