Post subject: | Travel from Carlisle? |
I'm moving up to Carlisle in a few weeks to go to uni and i don't think i can get by without my fix of RL, as you guys are doing well + the Rooney connection i really want to make The Raiders my "adopted club". My questions are these; 1) How easy is it to get to barrow on the train/bus from Carlisle? 2) How much does it cost to get in on the door? 3) Can anyone recommend me a good place for a pint? 4) Can anyone recommend me a good place to stand during the game, i do like a good sing at the match. Any info would be great thanks guys & girls. Been following you the times you have been on sky & look forward to getting to experience it for real, what's left of this year & next! |

try posting on the rugby league org site as this is where most of the fans discuss. the raiders ground is a 5 minute walk from the train station £13 entry, the best place to stand imo is on the popular side opposite the stand. there are plenty of place's for a pint or 2, duke of ed, wehterspoons, bar continental, the ambrose all of which are on route to the ground. hope this is of help to you? |
