I'm surprised there isn't already a thread on here about Barrow signing Wakefield Trinity standoff Jamie Rooney.

Good signing by Barrow!

my lad presented JR with his top this year , still some poor sod had to do scully.

good luck to Rooney , let it never be forgot what he brought to the table especially in the survival battle.

leaves as being the holder of most points in a trinity match

how is tony martin? he didn't look too hot after the game on sunday.
and drew looked in a bad way too.

Which leaves us a bit short in the stand off area. Seems a bit odd we've agreed to let him go now.

absolutely fantastic signing. with holt and campbell both being injured and brocky being sacked, we have lost 3 key play makers. However, i believe mossop is more than ready for more game time- and with a class act like rooney in our team we can now regain our confidence in our team. what a signing, fantastic

Quality signing for Barrow. Shows the true intentions of your club. I thought you was getting our lad (Briers) looks like he is staying at Wire. Any way good luck, I'm a fan of getting a Cumbrian club in SL the region deserves it.

Good luck to Jamie at Barrow. He's been a good servant to Wakey. All the best and will keep an eye on your results.

A fantastic signing for Barrow but he's only signed on loan until the end of the season, Briers will (allegedly) be at Barrow next season

Oh well that rumour was wrong, I guess Briers won't be at Barrow next season - just signed a 12 month extension to his Warrington contract :D :D
