As a Keighley Fan, I enjoy both home and away encounters with both Leigh and Barrow and wish them both luck. I have no doubt they will both re group and re invent.
I find it hard to comprehend any fan who wants or laughs at the demise of any club.
I find myself having a dislike for York, like any fan maybe has a dislike for a team.
But my god I would be gutted if York didn't exist. The clashes with the clubs you dislike make the season exciting, raise the passion, get the nails bitten, give you the highs and lows, give you something to look forward to.
Without the other clubs, your own would have no game either.
We will return better and stonger from this, I'm afraid a certin chairman made a right pigs ear of things at Barrow and left us in a right state. I hope Leigh recover from their problems also, we can ill afford to lose famous clubs with such rich history as Barrow and Leigh from our great game.

Agreed...lets hope both our clubs have learned lessons from recent events and now work towards long term stability with a lot of openness and honesty thrown in.
I'am very confident we can recover from all this, there are too many people in Barrow who care passionately about the rugby to let them fall by the wayside, I'm sure the same will apply at Leigh.
Halifax are the next team to be offered a franchise next time around for me, they have done everything right over the last few season and like Widnes showed us the correct way of approaching the franchise system and systematically ticking all the boxes. I think Leigh will find it extremely hard to tick the box for winning/ appearing in the play off's or winning the Northern Rail Final but I wish them well.
Leigh have already "ticked a box" by winning this years NRC, although I do agree with you about Halifax providing they can "tick a box" over the next 2 years
Brad Fitler "If the ref's decision decides your game. You haven't done enough prior."
Referees are like women, they make snap decisions and never reverse them.

Sorry you are right of course about Leigh already ticking the box.
