March 30th is Mothers' Day this year and if anyone is looking for a suitable present perhaps my latest novel "Two Seasons" might fit the bill. It is set during the 2002 and 2003 seasons with a background of Work, Family, Old Friends and Rugby League and is now available in WH Smith in its the city centre store.
And on Saturday March 22nd from 10 onwards I will be in the store to sign copies so if you have never met an author before come along and have a chat!
Also in the store are two other books that might be of interest to York rugby league fans. The first is titled "Heading For The Line". It is a Fans' Guide to the grounds of all the British professional and semi professional clubs, National Conference League clubs and international and big match venues.
"The King Of Brilliance" is the second book. This is the biography of Rugby League's first superstar, James Lomas who played for York during the whole of the 1913/14 and the 1914/15 seasons.
For those people who don't live or shop in York, these three books are all available direct rom the publisher London League Publications at
