Even if he is offered the job at Keighley there is every likelihood of him turning it down to learn the art of coaching from Dave Woods,( Just as Chris Thorman is doing ) in his own good time.
JD has in the recent past mentioned his desire to return to Australia.It's probably better for him to have the confidence and contacts of Dave Woods,if that is still the case.

I hope he remains in The Championship,with YCK,for 2011.

Great signing for you, he's a top bloke with great leadership skills on and off the field. SL is too fast for him now, but he can still break a tackle and get through a gap - it's just that SL defenses can turn and catch him up!

another ex Wakey lad Mark Barlow signing for you aswell, good player and also my mate :wink: , i'll be down at the Huntingdon stadium a few times this year to see him and JD

JD is a cracking signing for you guys, had a lot of offers but chose York and will give you everything he's got and then some

Says in todays Press Keighley will have to pay a 5 figure sum in compo to the Knights, so with that and the money they were going to pay him we should be able to get a couple of good players. :wink:
