York City Knights are very happy to announce the capture of Toby Williams for the 2007 season. Toby, who signs for the Knights from Keighley Cougars, is a versatile forward, having played at both prop and second row previously. He was named Man of the Match on several occasions at Keighley and was noted for his try scoring as well as his tough tackling. Toby, 20, came through the scholarship system at Keighley under the watchful eye of Jason Ramshaw during his time at the club, before signing for the first team at the tender age of just 17. Of his new signing Knights Head Coach Mick Cook said "Toby comes with a good reputation, he's in great physical shape, and he will prove to be a real asset to the club for the forthcoming season".

hi,
I think Toby is a great signing for you, no matter what he will always put 110% into the games.
I am a cougars fan and I thought he was one of the best players for us last season, and I hope he does well for you.

Sorry for only just replying!
Well Peter Roe is now known as Director of Rugby, so its Barry who is doing most of the training with the players and that kind of thing, but they seem to be doing ok. Last year was more of a rebuilding year so hopefully this year we will kick on and challenge you for promotion :wink:
Hope you have a good year too, you seem to have a very good team!!! So please try and be nice to us when we play against each other! Thanks! :D
