Kingstone Press Championship Round Eight Round Up It was a big Easter Monday for the Championship with several tasty looking fixtures including the winless Swinton Lions hosting Oldham Roughyeds, Featherstone Rovers travelling south to take on the high-flying London Broncos and Bradford Bulls away at Halifax.
There would be plenty of shocks, surprises, and a couple of near misses and the Kingstone Press Championship table got a good shake as the doubling-up over Easter took its toll.
We have to start the round-up at Swinton (playing their home fixture in Sale) where the Lions finally picked up their first points of 2016 with a win over fellow strugglers, Oldham.
