There is no logic or transparency to this imo and it smacks of favouritism by the people giving out the scores.
For the sake of rugby league this rubbish must be binned immediately. Can you imagine what happens when a team gets promoted or relegated on the back of this nonsense that would have otherwise been nowhere near promotion/relegation? I can only imagine a revolt by the clubs refusing to play under the new system or fans leaving in droves.
