Dewsbury's last six matches:

Bradford (H): Lost 38-12
Whitehaven (A): Lost 38-12
York (H): Lost 40-0
Wakey (A): Lost 56-0
Sheffield (A): Lost 36-13
Fev (H): Lost 46-12

Total points scored 49 (average = 8pts). Total points conceded 254 (average = 42pts)

I'd settle for Dewsbury getting a hat-trick of 38-12 defeats in a row! Amazingly, we won the home fixture 38-12!

Bookmakers prediction: Dons to give Dewsbury 18 points start.

For me it's all about which Don's side turns up, we're just so inconsistent recently and predicting a score is near impossible! That being said my gabber will be flastered if were asked to give up 18 as i had it around 8 or 10. I'll be making the trip up as it's my weekend off but setting off earlier to attend Rob Burrow's funeral (well standing outside fev lions ground as his car goes by) COYD.

Connor Robinson summed it up in his post game talk after the Swinton game. We keep hold of the ball and win this.

Our problem in recent weeks has been playing too much of the game in our own third from mistakes

Re the Handicap betting, my guess would be Dons -6 or -8.

Boooo!! Hiss!!! Boooo!! :NAUGHTY:
It's a game we must win, so there's a bit of pressure on us. We stuck at it well against Swinton. I hope we can do the same here.

I thought the Swinton game was a vital one. If we lost that, getting dragged into the bottom three looked inevitable. We certainly can't afford to lose at Dewsbury.

We've pretty much got to win all the matches against the teams in and around us or else we'll have squeeky bums right up to the end of the season. It's such a tough league. It does worry me that you and K&C think the bookies won't fancy our chances quite as much as my prediction. Maybe I've got the forecast wrong.

I did it with Dewsbury having conceding 42 on average and only scoring 8 in their recent games, coupled with us beating them by 26 at home. I thought our second half performance against Swinton suggested we might have turned a corner. The lads will have a bit more confidence now.

Anyway, here's hoping for the best on Sunday.

Dewsbury will definitely see it as a winnable game for them especially on their own patch but i think we've had a word with ourselves and will come through this, my reckoning is they will get around 12-16pts so to cover 18 we will have to get mid 30's which when you consider we're averaging 7.333333 pts in our last 3 games it's a big ask. We don't have consistency that's why it's tough to call, do we get the same Don's performance we got at barrow or the game at toulouse???
