The Dons will play Widnes away in the third round of the challenge cup. Game to be played on the weekend of 10th/11th February

The winner of Dons v Widnes will play the winner of Bradford and North Wales away

We have 1 may be two away games in a row, neither are easy to get to a big money clash with a Super League side, meanwhile Wakefield have 2 amateur sides in a row.

Life just isn't fair sometimes I guess.

We’d have to win another game after those 2 to get a SL team too. They don’t come in til round 6

Look on the bright side Adam, Widnes will get a decent crowd, Bradford will get an even better one. They'll bring in some cash for us. After we beat both of them all clubs in the Championship will realise we're a force to be reckoned with. We won't be worried about relegation. An amateur side might be waiting for us in the 5th round, then we can hit the big boys!

Wishful thinking, I know. :)

We had no luck with the draw. Hopefully, we might get a home draw in the 1895 cup should we progress.

If truthful both are horrible draws, think the Widnes game will be interesting to see where we actually are because i have them around the same level as us so that's definitely winnable but the Bradford one will be tougher, either way being able to mix it with these sort teams is what we've wanted for years.

One game at a time, Widnes is winnable, it's the away-ness (which isn't a word) which is the shame and makes it harder.

I'd have liked a lower ranked opposition, not because I think we can win the challenge cup, but cause I'd like to see some players getting a bit more game time while they're working each other out. It is what it is though, don't feel like we've had much luck in the draws for years
