I am not on Facebook ,however my son has commented to me about family members of players continually commenting on why their son had not been selected, or that their son was the only one to have a go ...................this I find very disrespectful to the rest of the squad.
Surely if you are not selected then rather than getting you parents to comment and complain on a public forum you would listen to the coaches criticism and try knuckling down and putting things right.
If I were the players involved I would be having a word with my parents and tell them to stop embarrassing me and making me look like a child.

Honestly if I was the coach ,said players would be out of the door.

Regardless of weather you like RH or not he is the coach and lives or dies by his results , as a grown man I would hardly expect my mum and Dad to come to my place of work to tell my boss how good I am and how I should get that promotion, because in their opinion I'm better than the person that actually got the job.

Pathetic, you are supposed to be professional athletes please try acting like one.

All spot on apart from the RH lives and dies by his results because he lives and still lives by his results

Regardless , RH is still the boss.

You are always going to get an unhappy few players that are not selected, but that's life.

If you cant handle the rejection of non-selection then either grow a pair or leave ,its that simple.

I don't do Facebook so I'm not aware of what has been said on there either.

Even though the score was embarrassing against Midlands, I'm sure the lads went out with the intention to do their best. For whatever reasons, we never got going. Nevertheless, I would never criticise the players for not trying.

I can understand why parents might want to defend their sons, especially if criticisms were directly aimed at them. However, player and family social media involvement probably isn't something that should be encouraged. I agree with earlier comments that if a player isn't happy about being picked, he should have a one-to-one with the coach and either respect the coach's decision or move on, not use a third party to express dissatisfaction.

Did things become a bit 'personal' on Facebook after yesterday's game?

They we not to bad DM - I've seen worse and I wasnt in the firing line apart from a broadside shot from the usual suspect :)

The Boas situation has got to have got some of the lads riled up and annoyed as he just walked back into a first team shirt after abandoning us and telling outright lies, for me he should never been able to wear the blue and gold again with at the very least a very public and personal apology to the fans and club.

I was suggested that all players were consulted prior to the Boas return, but it would appear that might not be 100% accurate by what some people were saying.

I dont think the coach is upto it, he's reached his level of getting into the play offs and fluking our way to the final only to come up short, he has all the personality of a damp blanket when he is on the videos/interviews and the team dont seem very fired up most of the time.

I believe so , however my comment was aimed at an ex-player and father of a current squad member and a father that thinks his lad is the bees knees and only player to "Put a shift in", When really he has not impressed me and most of the guys I sit with at all.

As I said ,I don't have it but was informed by my lad that thought some of the comments were really out of order.
Yes, people were disappointed which I totally understand but some of the comments were disgraceful by all accounts.
