Hunslet won at N Wales today. N Wales 20, Hunslet 30.

Current table:

Dews: 13, 25, +371
Dons: 11, 20, +174
Oldh: 12, 17, +208
Huns: 11, 16, +168

If we lose to Hunslet, they might have a better chance of catching us than Oldham but they have two tough matches coming up:

16th July: Hunslet v Oldham
30th July: Hunslet v Dewsbury

Let's hope we can beat them so we can focus on catching Dewsbury rather than becoming concerned about who might be on our coat-tails.

I thought Hunslet looked quite good when we played them at home. I reckon the bookies might give Hunslet 6 points start in this one.

It never feels like we have a good history at Hunslet, although I can remember some wins there so maybe the stats aren't as negative as my first thought.

Hunslet have a big say in how this season goes for the top 3, playing us all at home, and they will be keen to capitalise on it

Is this current squad of Dons players arguably one of the best that we will have taken to play at the South Leeds stadium? IMO it is the best for a good few years.

Yes, and I am pretty sure we will be favourites. But we have all supported this club long enough to know there is always at least one pretty big bump in the road. 30+ years has battered any presumed confidence out of me

The last time the Dons were defeated at the South Leeds Stadium was on 18th March 2016 losing 48-6 in the fourth round of the challenge cup.The Dons have played six away fixtures against Hunslet & since that cup defeat in 2016.winning five of them & a 18-18 draw in June 2021.

There you go, my memories are worse than than reality. Maybe it was the cold that stopped my neurons from firing properly

That's the problem Jemmo on here, when you switch to the darkside, reality has a tendency to get overlooked and the impending Armageddon gets hold of you.
