Current Table: Dews: 12, 23, +359 Dons: 11, 20, +174 Oldh: 11, 17, +220 1) If the Dons beat Dewsbury and don't drop points to anyone else, we're champions. 2) If Dewsbury lose to Oldham, the Dons would still need to beat Dewsbury to finish top. A draw for the Dons against Dewsbury would probably mean Dewsbury would finish top on points diff. Assuming the top three don't lose to anyone outside the top three... 3) If Oldham beat Dewsbury and Dons lose to Dewsbury, we could finish third. 4) If Oldham lose to Dewsbury, we should finish second at worst. I know we've got tricky games at Hunslet and Workington and Oldham and Dewsbury might drop points elsewhere but based on the above, it might be better for us if Dewsbury beat Oldham on Friday as that makes it harder for Oldham to get above us. What does everyone think? |

I think Dewsbury will win on Friday evening, the rest of the campaign will have twists and turns, North Wales have turned the corner and putting in some eye catching scores. From the 23rd July we have back to back games until that last home game. A lot can happen and I do offer up a prayer that we don't pick up any serious knocks before that home tie with the Rams. |

Yes, we softened up Rochdale for Dewsbury and we may have done the same with Oldham - turning round after five days makes it even more difficult than it otherwise would. Dewsbury will be wanting revenge for their draw at Oldham too. I agree North Wales are no pushovers now they'e got their act together. It feels as though our away games at Hunslet and Workington are going to be serious tests. |

Updated table: Dews: 13, 25, +371 Dons: 11, 20, +174 Oldh: 12, 17, +208 Huns: 10, 14, +168 Tonight's result was the best one for us. Oldham are much less of a threat to finish above us. Our worst case scenario ought to be second. If we beat Dewbury at home, we can still finish top. Had Oldham won tonight, we would still have needed to beat Dewsbury to finish top. |

If Oldham win their remaining 6 games, they'll finish on 29 points. We need 10 points from our last seven games to get to 30 points. In effect, we can lose two matches and still be guaranteed of finishing above Oldham. |
