A sad day for everyone, you new what you was going to get with Shaun, only 110%.
pity it had to end because of that stupid tackle on sunday.
All the best Shaun you're always welcome at the Dons.
A massive thank you for the effort you have put in over the years.

Huge shame that he retires due to a Cumbrian throw. Not the most gifted player ever to pull on a Dons shirt and I'm sure he would admit it but what cannot be faulted is the guys unstinting loyalty to the Club and for that he was always a favourite of mine. I wish you well Shaun and thank you ever so much for the way that you have stuck with this Club through some good times but most importantly the dross. Wishing you all the very best in what ever you do.

The loyalty Shaun has shown to the club and fans over the years has been nothing short of outstanding.

I'm really glad he will have some good memories from his days with Doncaster to cherish even though they've not all fallen into that bracket. The world is low on loyalty generally. We all tend to put ourselves first and everyone else second but Shaun's certainly not been that way as far as Doncaster rugby league has been concerned.

To Shaun, I wish you every success in your main job and hope the family enjoy seeing a bit more of you now. I hope you still find time for the Dons and the fans in the future too! Thank you for all you've done for us over the years.

A sad way during a sad season for it to end for Shaun as a Dons player but as has been said his loyalty to the cause has been totally with question.

Good to note that despite the 'no testimonial' from the RFL that there will be an event later this year.

Best wishes to Shaun and his family for the future.
