You can either put.....
Doncaster Rugby League Football Club, or if you want to abbreviate that put....
Doncaster R.L.F.C.
Putting Doncaster R.L.F.C means (and there are many possibilities) in this specific case Doncaster Rugby League Football C (because the C is not an abbreviation).
Or you could put Doncaster RLFC and forget the dots, but you can't put a mixture.
