can anyone tell me if toulouse qualify for relegation thi season i under stood they were exempt for three seasons. that is if they finish in bottom two..

I believe that 2011 is their final 'exempt' season (3-year exemption commencing in 2009) so on that basis, no they wouldn't be relegated at the end of this season should they finish in the bottom two.

Word is from over in Toulouse is that this is their final season in the Championship

I wouldn't be surprised, I don't actually know why they would want to be in the Championship, the French Elite league is of a similar standard, they will surely get more travelling support from within their own country and at the moment they can only gain access to SL through the application requirements of Championship Clubs (ie Grand Finalist or NRC winner) where as any other French club can apply for SL without jumping through those hoops

2011 is the final season in the Championship for Toulouse. Next season they will revert to Elite 1 in France.

According to the French Federation the RFL have agreed in principle to the concept of an Anglo/French comp involving 4 Championship and 4 French clubs inc Toulouse starting at the end of May next year
It will be interesting to see how it works out.

Rather than fannying around with hair brained schemes like this the RFL should come up with a format which sees us having a decent amount of home games in a meaningful competion.

Tolouse gettin thrashed recently, makes a mockery of that league in some ways, but then again i have never been cynical about teams just randomlly been put in leagues, hail franchices an amazing idea

What is the plan for the Championship in 2012?
If there is no replacement, will only one team get relegated this year? Or will two still get relegated and three up from our league?
I don't know what's happening.
