Looks like a case of 'foot off the gas' by the C1 leaders who led 38-18 after 45 minutes.

Credit to the Skolars for sticking in there and nicking a bonus point. Adebisi one of the try scorers.

This is some comfort for last week's drubbing by Rochdale.
Rochdale 49-18 Whitehaven
It looks like Rochdale will be a force from now on.
They had the sense to capture Wayne McHugh after he was dumped by Hunslet.
Wish we had got him.

Rochdale were and are a well drilled side with good players, which is why I wasn't overly worried by last week

McHugh is undoubtedly a cracking player at this level, although he does carry some baggage

Whitehaven lost 1st league match against Rochdale over the weekend.
