Team news ... Jamie Bovill (one match ban) and Chris Spurr (hamstring injury) join long-term absentees Aaron Dobek and Grant Edwards in being unavailable for this Championship One opening fixture. Craig Fawcett and Shaun Leaf come back into contention having trained this week after missing recent games. |

Difficult to weigh up the Scorpions with only one competative game played after they elected not to take part in the Northern Rail Cup. On a strict line of form through Dewsbury Rams, the Dons should be capable of winning this with a good few points to spare. Match fitness ought to favour Tony Millers team too. |

I thought we would be less than -14 to be honest so i stayed clear. Others at betfred yesterday were Widnes - 14 at Sheffield Batley -6 v Dewsbury Keighley -24 v Skolars Oldham -38 v Gateshead Swinton -12 v Worky. I had a couple of quid on all 5 coming up! |
