Potential banana-skin territory again. Not many of the players who played last season against Siddal remain at the Club (six I believe ... Bovill, Ely, Kesik, Leaf, Steen & Wilson) but they along with Coach Tony Miller who has described that defeat as 'the worst day in his RL career' should be enough to ensure no complacency against a very useful Thatto Heath side. In truth I personally don't honestly see an upset this time but every respect must be given to our high-flying visitors. |

Team news ... Shaun Leaf and Craig Fawcett are reported to be sidelined for this fixture with Mick Butterfield also questionable. Jamie Bovill who faces an RFL disciplinary committee next week following an alleged head-butt in the victory at Rochdale is expected to play as is new dual-registration signing Nev Morrison. |
