Can any Donny fans tell me about Craig Cook who has just joined Toulouse from the Eagles ?

How highly do you rate him ?

how good was he for the Dons and how do you think will he do in the Championship ?

He's a good bustling sort of player, who loves to burrow over for tries a la Keiron Cunningham.

He should go OK, he was well appreciated at Donny.
He used to have a little party trick where he used to stop dead and then carry on ... it seemed to confuse the defence. It was quite comical and effective. I don't think he does it anymore.

He has a tendency to having a belly on him ... but he is not alone in that.

Was in the Champiship this year and arguably the best hooker in the division! A very clever player who doesn't half know his way to the line. An odd move but very good Championship signing for Toulouse IMO.

I can remember the first time I saw him try it in a game, which was away at Whitehaven. Got a penalty, tapped the ball, stood stock still, the defence brought it, only for Craig Lawton [I think] to hammer the ball over the line.

thanks for the info lads - he sounds just the sort of hooker we need after losing the quality of Martin Mitchell who unfortunately was injury prone which probably cost us (TO13) along with Mendez-Varela (completely unable to catch a high ball !) any chance of reaching the play-offs
It will be interesting to see how he adapts to french life (a bit of a change to tropical South Yorkshire methinks !) cos' some of the previous english imports haven't been able to deal with the culture change down here - maybe the women are better looking in South Yorks ?........

Believe he's played in Australia so he will have already experienced some culture change.
