not being from the wonderful town of Donny I obviously lead a sad life so,is the fact that a Championship coach spotted in town is BIG news ? if not,what is the point of this topic ???

Must be a really quiet news days the fact that he was seen shopping with his wife. I suppose it beats shopping in Featherstone

sounds like paradise - is it worth moving from the south of france to be a part of this Shangri La ? I mean,is the weather anything like Toulouse ? how much is a decent bottle of Cotes du Rhone ? apart from fish & chips,is it a place of gastronomic deilights ? etc etc by the way,to an ignorant froggie like me,WHERE THE HELL IS Featherstone ?

not really Wanderer though I was a fairly regular visitor to Elland Road and various other nearby football grounds in the 70s (I was/am a Norwich City fan) but can't recall ever visiting Pontefract or immediate area - haven't been back to Yorkshire since then ! hoping for a visit to the area next year to take in a Dons match at least for our 30th wedding anniversary,health permitting etc
