Information that i have been given was that in the past these meetings were begging meetings and the club do not want that, but to hold a meeting with fans when there are positives with the club, instead of all the doom and gloom from previous owners.
Please support the club by attending and maybe get your questions answered.
I believe that with initiatives such as the Barbecue and the Fans Forum, the Club are endeavouring to reach out to the support-base and hopefully expand it.
It would be heartening if we could get good numbers to these events.

I attended the meeting—
Ray informed us that the finances were looking good and the club had recently had a meeting with the RFL and everything was looking fine.
Mark Wilson the guy running the new lottery told us a little of how it would be run and that there would now be a weekly prize of £250 replacing the roll-over.
We were told that the club had done everything in its power to keep hold of Craig Lawton-- but understood his work commitments and wished him well.
Tony informed us that the lads had been working well in training and all were fully committed to the cause, and their fitness levels are improving week by week and he thought they were very unlucky not to have come away from Workington without at least a bonus point--(but please don't offer the lads chocolate before a game).
Ray is hoping to run a day trip to the Challenge Cup Final if a fifty seater bus can be filled --the price for this will be £55 which includes a £41 ticket into the game—very good offer---please ring the club or see Ray at the game if interested.
It was also stated that there will be a number of Summer Rugby-Boot Camps for youngsters sometime soon.

The mood from every one at the club was very upbeat, it is just a shame that so few people made the effort to attend when the club was trying to be open with the fans.
