After Mondays game can anyone recommend a good pub that serves food and Thorne Brewery Best Bitter. Ive never tried it and would like to sample a pint or two. Thanks in advance. |

The Wetherspoons / Lloyds outlets sometimes have Thorne Beers on but not necessarily Best Bitter. There are three of these in the town centre; the Red Lion in the Market Place the Old Angel on Cleveland Street the Gatehouse on Priory Walk also in the town centre is a pub on Hall Gate (up from the High Street) called the Yorkshire Grey which usually has at least one Thorne brew available. The other pubs where you would be certain to get one are generally out of town. Hope this is of some help. |

Is is easy to get to from the Keepmoat? It's in the Market Place, two hundred yards from the aforementioned Red Lion - so perhaps not quite what you are after? |
