Does any one have any thoughts on how to improve the gates (apart from a winning team ) ?
What about half price entry to any one with a season ticket for any other Rugby or Football team ?

The vast majority of people in Doncaster are fickle/fair weather supporters so will only go and watch a winning or at least a competitive side.

At the moment even charging £6 a head to get on is almost robbery.

A stable winning side is the only way to get sustained support.

How would you finance this ?

Well Id have employed a coach with a track record of working within a tight budget and recruited a mix of known professionals and up and comers on the field.

I would have also played the loan market and get some kids from SL sides on these dual registration deals for a season.

Someone who can give the team some fire in there belly and a desire to win, from what I have read about Saturdays game we lacked any enthusiasm or hunger to win the game, this is clearly missing from our squad and needs in be of paramount importance.

I dont mind the Dons loosing its the manner of there loss that gets to me, I dont expect us to be world beaters and I'd be happy for us to potter round the championships for the rest of my days, but what I do expect is a team to play with pride and passion and a desire to win every single game they play.

Clearly this isnt happening and as the squad is the responsibility of the coach then the blame falls at his door.

Reduced prices will work if the team seem to be turning the corner, I would also consider a move away from the Keepmoat its vastly expensive for the club and supporters a like, you could say its a soul-less stadium when not packed to the rafters.

A move to Castle Park would for me be sensible, smaller ground, cheaper rates, more accessable to fans, and build from there.

Good points and well made. All of which i can not argue with. However i would still appeal for your continued support, as without it now next year may be too late.

If there are improvements to the onfield activities I may return to the Keepmoat, which hasn't been a Happy Home for the Dons.

It sounds simple doesn't it. But you're right, a win on Sunday would certainly go some way to at least pacifying the regulars although it might take some time to forget Saturday.

How we attract new supporters? Well that will certainly take a little longer.

How about all RL supporters lobbying the Rugby League and ask them to make the game a proper game as it used to be instead of the predicable too much kicking game it is at present.

Not worth it cos the RL are happy with the product seen on Sky Tv Friday & Saturday nights .
