What about existing Sky customers......there's a deal for them too isn't there? Would the Dons get any money from that? I have an old Sky box and might consider upgrading to Sky+HD. |

If you already subscribe to Sky as I said in my previous post you can upgrade to Sky HD for around £30 thats the fee they charge for installing a brand new HD Box, alternatively contact Sky and tell them you want to cancel your current subscrition you will be able to negotiate a very good deal for Sky HD. The cheapest way to watch HD TV is to purchase a television with buit in Freesat Richer sounds at present are offering a 32inch LG LCD TV with built in Freesat & 1080P for £379. 95 and five years warranty for £38, as Freesat works off a Sky dish you can install this yourself just transfer the wiring from the rear of the Sky box to the rear of the LG TV, there are no fees to pay to watch HD television on the Freesat system |

I told a friend that once, they phoned up them, told them they want to cancel, and they said "OK sir, and disconnected him" ![]() |

I'm sure I had a conversation with someone at Sky to the effect that 'If I cancelled and then re-applied to get all the new deals as a pseudo new customer....they would not reconnect me for a year. They could have been giving me bullcrap however....but I wasn't brave enough to try it. Otherwise everyone would do it everytime a new customer offer came out. |

![]() I contacted Sky when they were offering Sky + boxes to new customers and they wanted to charge existing customers to upgrade so I threaten to cancel my subscription I got a Sky + foc but I had to pay £30 for installation as they had to fit a new LNB to my dish as Sky+ boxes have twin tuners |
