Doncaster Toll Bar pulled off one of the biggest shocks in recent Yorkshire cup history when the Yorkshire second division side took the scalp of high flying Pennine premier division Elland on their Doncaster ground 36 - 16. Toll Bar were expertly guided around the park all afternoon by Mat Brandham and their two recent signings Mark Roach and Ryan Rafferty. Toll Bar turned round at half time with their nose just in front at 12 - 10 after a gigantic arm wrestle with both sides showing steel in defence, the door was finally opened around the 50 minute mark with the home side taking two quick converted tries 24 - 10. Elland kept to their task and pulled a converted try back before Shaun Carver cause mayhem charging down the right channel creating two trie and scoring one himself 36 - 16. It's been a good weekend for Donny Rugby, Toll Bar U'18 won today too v Shaw Cross 16 - 26 Pete Green & Kev Jones are doing a good job there with the lads.. Well done
