Hi Leebosh. So in your opinion would there be no problem in the Dons playing at castle park.
I got told that the Union side relay the pitch every summer and would need substantial investment for the dons to play there in the summer. Is then wrong information i got told, and simply not the case.
Hi Rob. the main problem is that we would have to turn the main 1st team pitch at castle park from a 6 monthly set up to a 12 monthly set up which means that there is more investment needed. can be done but so far nothing as been talked about on both sides as far as i no. At the minute we have a window to get the work done on the 1st team and also the outer pitches which for the 1st team pitch takes about 2 to 3 month. all we would do is do the work when the teams are playing like Mr Thompson do's at the Keapmoat.
Im talking as a fan of Doncaster Rugby League which i have supported all my life. had hope to god things are sorted out soon. this is just to tell you what can be done.
Talking with my heart and head i think that the Keapmoat is to big and think that we should be looking else were. this is my thoughts as a fan.
if i can help in anyway with the Dons i will be glad to help. also will be putting my money were my mouth is and join the supporters trust.
Jim i always put my heart and sole in to everything i do as waterboy,kitman or as you would see at Castle park how good the pitch is as Groundsman with my partner in crime Owen. also will do the same to help the Dons as much as i can as a Fan.
