Following two 'open' meetings a couple of months ago, one with Carl Hall and the second with representatives of Supporters Direct, it was reported that a Supporters Trust Committee had been formed.
Serving on the committee are a number of people who have historically been involved in supporter-led activities such as supporters groups, committees, fanzines, websites etc.
It may seem to some that it has gone a little quiet on the subject since. However, it is fair to say that the committee has been pretty busy.
Supporters Direct, who have involvement with in the region of 160 'trusts' across Football and Rugby League have provided support and allocated to us one of their full-time representatives.
We have to date; Allocated key positions to a number of committee members including Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Media, Club Liaison and Promotions. Made contact with existing and dormant Dons supporters groups with a view to bringing all activities under the 'trust' banner. Held a meeting with representatives from Trust in Widnes (the Vikings trust) to get an understanding of the range of activities they have been involved in. Agreed the trusts aims and constitution. Agreed a link up with 'Dons' Lottery. Set up a trust website (see link below).
We will this weekend; Be in Doncaster town centre on Saturday morning promoting tomorrows game at the Keepmoat Stadium against Gateshead Thunder. Be at the Keepmoat Stadium on Sunday promoting the 'Trust' (leaflets and membership forms will be available).
We would ask all supporters to consider joining us as we seek to provide support to the Dons and to RL in Doncaster.
The website is by no means complete but please feel free to check it out.
Regards, Gary Fox (Chairman - Supporters Trust Interim Committee).

A number of us spent a few hours in the town centre today promoting tomorrows game.
Massive to Mick and Sharon for wearing the Parky and Vila costumes - any level of success we have must in many ways be credited to these guys for actions above and beyond the call of duty- The kids loved you!
The group gave out a decent number of free passes to children for tomorrows game.

Thanks Richard.
This group of people are a great bunch who are firmly committed to the cause. I'm sure you will see us again before too long.
