To help raise funds for the future of the Dons Alick Jeffries is organising a Sportsman Dinner @ Earl of Doncaster on the 30th July 2009.

Guest speaker is rugby legend Alex Murphy.

Tickets for the event can either be purchased individually at £40 per head or £400 per table. If possible please give your support to this event and help Alick raise the club some funds.

To book or for further details please call Alick on 07990722354.

Please spread the word about this event and encourage others to attend.

I will not be there due to us having a meeting, and with me being on the interim board of the new supporters trust and Laura from the rugby league supporters trust who will be present also, we will be discussing future actions for the fundraising for the Dons.

Rugbyman has retired. Welcome to Another Penalty

We have been having regular meetings every 2 weeks for the past 10 weeks or so.When was this dinner organised?

Also it was decided to have the meeting on a Thursday night as it was the most suitable for everyone.Everybody works and has other commitments so we try and cater for everyone.Sorry if it clashes with the gig.

Kalos, the sportsmans diner was organised several weeks if not months ago, although i admit it did not get a mention on the forum until 15th July.
It`s just a shame we all want our club to survive but when things like this happen it appears that the club and supporters are not working as 1
Alex has managed to get 12 tables for tonight but only 2 will have DONS supporters on.
