To be fair to Brian Waldron he offered to let David Prime & his other directors the use of the ground for the newly formed Doncaster Dragons but they couldn't reach agreement over the rent and opted to play at the Meadow Court stadium hence the reason the stands etc were demolished so quickly.
To date no planning permission as been granted to re-develop the site of Tattersfield but there could be good reasons for this
totally agree with you geoff.i think the rent mentioned at that time was around the£600 a week +,which im sure the fans would have gladly stumped up if any one had bothered to ask.im sure there was a little more to it than that, sure it may have had something todo with others parties .
