Post subject:  A way forward for the Dons - Meeting with Laura Harrison

Like Karlos & a few more I have spoken to Laura Harrison late this afternoon. She is happy to come to Doncaster to meet with us one evening (sooner rather than later) to discuss how we could move forward with a Supporters Trust and how it would or could work.

Initially it would take only a small number of us to meet at first to develop a few aims & objectives of a Trust, such as to ensure it is constituted, democratic and working for the benefit of the community etc.

Ideally I suppose the meeting would need to take place very soon, so that we could then have some literature ready to distribute for the 'home' game against Batley, or the latest the Eagles game to promote a larger public meeting to get more supporters on board. Also importantly to allow the media to publicise it for us too and to generate some optimism amongst those without access to the net.

I realise it could be a long haul, but surely its worth a go.
So folks suggested availability & venue please and we ll try and get a meeting set by Wednesday night.

Can't do the 17th myself but we would have a problem with the Drum as Wednesdays are not ideal for them.

I will get a list of available dates. 16th might be better if available, as Bruce commented earlier in the thread there may well be discussions there that night re a fundraiser.

I'll post something this evening.
