The Ross Divorty 'back to York' stories are showing now sign of dying down even though the City Knights have so far played down the reports. Meanwhile the Dons could come face to face with a familiar Frenchman on Sunday. Rachid Ahlalou, a utility back who made a couple of appearances on loan from UTC for the Dons last season, has signed a short-term deal with Whitehaven and is expected to be named in the seventeen at the weekend. |

Heard that we were in for Divorty (top prospect b.t.w.), but we couldn't meet his wage demands. |

I agree. He is a very good ball playing back rower. Ive been saying that for a long time to my friend. He always gets his head through and arms free to offload it just seems he hasn't got the others pushing through to recieve it from him. in a top team he would be a very good player with the quality around him. He looks a nice gentle giant but he must be tough on the field though as when i last watched he went up to prop at times and took the ball up well. Would like to see him try a higher level once he has served at the Dons. |
