just tell me what he has done wrong to us as fans and residents of doncaster, without him we wouldnt have the stadiumthe hub and the bus coridor as well as bringing business to the town all fact not fiction people boo for anything what small minded people they are |

Do some people actually follow current affairs? If this mayor is so good for Doncaster, why he did he resign from the Labour party so he cold stand for a third term, only not to put himself up for re-election. This tag rugby match is a perfect example of his problem - he loves being there for a good PR opportunity, but when there is a tough question to answer he is nowhere to be seen (see recent press). The stadium took the council millions into debt, and look what has happened as a result of that debt. |

Dont start me on the Bus corridor Bruce, runs to where I live but is useless for me to use to come to work on as it closes at 7pm earliest I finish any time at work is 8pm. Waste of time and money. |

We wouldn't have: The 'Community' Stadium-Put in the hands of a private company who from what we've seen so far couldn't run a p155 up. The Hub-lurching from one financial crisis to another after the wrong people were put in charge of the stratergy of the college but moreso the finances. The Bus Corridoor-Do I really need go into detail? The biggest white elephant in the area, unwanted by the majority and little used. But it gave the council an excuse to put even more traffic lights in the road to p155 off us motorists further. Surely someone has taken a backhander from the manufacturers, we have that many on York Road people from Blackpool are coming over to drive through them! Yea, its been a really successful tenure. |
