Things look very bleak, yet again but I m sure we will continue in one league or another, but for god sake.
SAY GOODBYE TO TONY MILLER
This way we may see more than two passes per set of six as I don t mind seeing us get beat if we play attractive rugby and AT LEAST TRY

Is he under a contract? Can you afford to sack him?

(Serious questions btw, I wouldn't wish what you appear to be going through again on anyone*)

If I had been advocating this I would have been rounded upon.
Just goes to show.
I do not think we should be changing horses midstream.....it's not Miller's fault that we are severely constrained and short on talent.
If Tony had what Halifax have.....I think we would be top of the league.

Matt Calland as what he as at Halifax because him and Martin Hall built it when they came to the club we was a poor side in a state.

I disagree S-O.

I think given the St Helens team Tony Miller would manage to get them playing one man rugby.

He is not a proven coach and doesnt have a vast network of contacts around the Rugby League world, where he can pickup good quality yet inexpensive talent.

He is not the right man for the job, wasnt before isnt now we need a coach with proven experience at this level....Dave Woods springs to mind yet again.

True.....but I tell you what....let's swap players and see what we could do with the Halifax side's players......we'd be top like you are......and you'd be at the bottom end....simple as.
Are you suggesting that Calland and Hall would do better with the present Dons side?
You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
What has done us is crippling injuries that have blighted our side....denuding it of a lot of its talent......and the rest is history.
We had a good start up to the League beginning.

But even with all the injuries and better results would this have put bums on seats, when you was near the top last season with very very good players your gates where very poor. your lucky that you have not won that many games and have had no winning bonus to pay out or you might be in more bother

I think generally (me included) the people of Doncaster are bored with the club and bored with the constant financial troubles we seem to lurch from what now seems to be on an annual basis.

A good solid successfull team in Doncaster will get good crowds, but they need to be consistant and personally I think playing at the Keepmoat with its "interesting" pricing puts a lot of people off to, there is little atmosphere there for a RL game with 800-2000 people there.

Marketing has long been a problem for the club there just not active enough around the town centre and trying to get new people in and when they have managed to attract new people to the game this season we've been appauling on the pitch and people dont return.
