your reserves have been getting some stick from various people on this site. On Thursday night they should have won the match against York and only a refereeing blunder stopped them doing so. They played well and looked like they had improved since the first game, they gave 100% throughout and got a standing ovation from both sets of supporters at the end of the game. They looked to have a few very good players on show and a win can't be far away |

Firstly, wishing a speedy recovery to the lads involved in the car accident. More important than any game. Secondly, only 3 subs on the bench? An aquaintence of mine who's signed on for reserves played club cricket on saturday, no call from coaches to ask him to turn out. Rather unprofessional in my honest opinion. |

Rather unprofessional in my honest opinion. It did seem a shambles to be fair, the lads didnt seem to have much of a clue, no game plan and having spoke to a cuple of players they said training is a bit of a joke and is like playing for an amateur club. Had Fev kicked their goals would of been 80+. Did not see the first team coaches there either, do they not watch the Reserve grade? As for the bricks all over the pitch I am surprised nobody has been seriously hurt in the past!! |

I find this troubling (and unprofessional if there isn't some very good explanation) - we are losing players to other Clubs but you are stating the the first teams coaching staff don't watch the reserves???? How do they know who might be good enough to make the step up???? |
