Post subject:  Carl Hall

I had a discussion today with my long time friend Carl Hall, about the problems that seem to be arising at the Dons, and i said to Carl that no one from the club had responded to what is happening.

Carl has told me that he will meet with fans on his own with no one else from the club present and will answer question from the fans, and give as much honest information as he can.

Carl states that he feels for the fans and that at the end of the day he has played here for us and been part of the Dons for a long time, he even settled here and started a family rather than return home to New Zealand due to his love for the town and the people.

Carl also commented that he would meet us when and where somewhere could be arranged.

The only issue would be the premises, it must be somewhere where we manage who was coming into the meeting and keep other people out, as Carl states that he would not want anyone else from the club to hear what was said.

The other option would be to email me questions and we could invite a few of the fans of the forum to come to my house, to speak to Carl and put the question to him that you send me, then we could feed back on the forum the question put to him and the replies.

I will not discuss anything what Carl has said to me today, but will allow him in his own words to state things.

Doesn't the fact that this statement is in the public domain indicate that Carl is out on a limb as far as the Club is concerned??? (others at the Club do read this forum).

Further to my earlier post ... had a message from Carl.

I suggest (as Baz has said) that we get this set up and listen to what he has to say.

Who has the decision on who is eligible to be present at the meeting?

Not a decision for anyone Karlos, Carl has just asked that no one else directly linked from the club be present.
We are possibly looking at the Drum in Bentley, someone will let people know when its arranged.

I know a couple of good bouncers if you wanna rent them.

£100 a night, each.

If you need them you have yourself a couple of rent boys, no problem

It appears Carl is still a spokesman for the club--
From Todays Doncaster Star.
