Not only have we lost a whole crop of talented players (Gale, Lawrie, Luisi, Wood and now Briggs) but we've lost 3 of them (Luisi - Barrow, Wood - Sheffield, Briggs - Featherstone) to divisional rivals.

With all due respect to the players who remain at the Club, our rivals seem to be getting stronger at our expense!

Not only that but no transfer fee, just a cost cutting exercise.

What sort of message is this going to send out to potential supporters (or existing ones for that matter)?

To be honest--i know Kyle has been injured --but for me personally i don't believe his heart and soul has been with the Dons right from the start this season.
Wish him well for the future, except for the Fev game that is.

But he was the best player on the pitch even in a losing side at Featherstone earlier in the season. Do you believe he has subsequently become disillusioned?

Maybe its the coaching methods and lack of attractive flowing rugby that has cause him to leave.

Sooner we are in the market for a coach who can cultivate attractive free flowing rugby the better.

Weren't we supposed to be on a even financial keel, so there should have been no financial reason to let him go.

You dont give away your better players to your divisional rivals its madness especially when we dont have anyone to replace him with.

I suspect it wont be long till Handforth goes to.

Didn't say he been playing badly--but even at the end of that Fev game i said to my lad that his body language looked odd-he didn't appear to join the rest of the squad on the pitch at the end of the game.
Sad to say but its come as no suprise to me that he's gone elswhere.

With the attendances we've been getting, it comes as no great surprise unfortunately. They aren't going to get much better at this rate.Depressing.
