I've nominated Parky for a postumous award for unsung hero in the Keepmoat Sporting Awards. The voting forms are in this weeks Free Press, and If you don't intend to vote for anyone else could I ask you for your support.
It would be so nice for the family to see him receive this award. And would give him recognition for his devotion to sport.

Thank you all.

John Reeve.

Sounds like a cracking idea. It gets my vote.

Once again thank you all, it's so good to know that the big man is still remembered and highly thought of.

Anyone who saw him play and watched the opposition try and knock him out of his stride could never forget how he would just get up and smile at them.

A true Dons legend and a damn fine player too who was not short of a trick or two with ball in hand.

Gone but definitely not forgotten.

Just a follow-up.

I attended the sports awards tonight and Kevin won. Many congratulations.

Yes, a very fitting tribute to a Doncaster legend.

Brilliant news!
I remember Parky from my days of attending Tattersfield, he was, as has been said, a damn fine player and a Gent. As Wanderer has mentioned, the broad smile that spread across his face whenever anyone was foolish enough to try and have a pop at him will stay with me for ever!
