Swinton Lions 22 Rochdale Hornets 28 Incredible fightback from the Hornets after Swinton had led 14-0 midway through the first half. Chris Hough with 4 goals for the Hornets whilst Graham Holroyd spent 10 mins in the sin bin for the Lions. Wakefield Trinity Wildcats 54 Leigh Centurions 0 Two tries each for Matt Blaymire, Aaron Murphy and Sam Obst as the Wildcats cross for 10 tries. 18 points for Danny Brough (1 try, 7 goals) as the Centurions are outclassed . Hull KR 32 Celtic Crusaders 6 Off-field issues do not distract the Robins as five tries and six goals are enough to see off the Crusaders in front of a crowd of over 7,000 at New Craven Park. Sheffield Eagles 28 Dewsbury Rams 18 Four tries in the final quarter of the game (including 2 from Johnny Woodcock and 1 from Kyle Wood) turned the game after Dewsbury had threatened an upset at the Don Valley Stadium. Halifax 20 Widnes Vikings 16 The home side win a tense encounter. Shad Royston is on the scoresheet for Halifax as the Vikings taste defeat at the Shay for the second time in a couple of weeks. |
